Joanne McGinty, Director of Fitness
A native of Mentor, Ohio, McGinty came to Wedgewood with 17 years of experience in developing and implementing health and wellness programs. In addition to being a certified personal trainer, McGinty holds a second certification in Lifestyle and Weight Management, qualifying her to work with clients on nutrition and weight loss. 
 
Prior to Wedgewood, McGinty founded Personally Yours Fitness in 1998. Through exercise, nutrition programming and behavior modification, McGinty helped her clients meet their goals and implement a healthy lifestyle. She also worked with numerous central Ohio companies to help employees develop healthy habits.
 
An active member of the Powell community where she resides, McGinty teaches Sunday School at St. Joan of Arc Parish. She also enjoys volunteering in the community and is a member of the Dublin Rotary. In her free time, McGinty enjoys painting, playing piano, cycling, hiking, strength training and spending time with her two children, Lauren and Patrick.

 

Bill Luke
Bill is a personal trainer and motivational speaker all in one! He is a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve, serving as Chief Paralegal with the Army JAG, and also serves as an adjunct professor of business ethics at Wilberforce University. Bill has earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from The Ohio State University, and an Masters in public administration from Central Michigan University. Bill's specialties include strengthening and sculpting through weight training and boot camp-style conditioning. Bill and his wife, Jennifer Luke, have four children and two grandchildren.

 
Todd Bettler
Todd is a resident of Westerville, Ohio, an Otterbein University graduate and a local business owner. His career in fitness instructon started in 2006 as a practitioner and assistant instructor at Koguryo Martial Arts. Shortly after, he moved into personal training and was the staff's lead trainer at Urban Active from 2010 to 2012. In 2012 he co-founded Element 5 Fitness and Wellness. 

Todd is a certified trainer, through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Also through NASM, he holds advanced specializations in Performance Enchancement and Golf Fitness.

Todd's training is a hybrid style, based on a balance of stability, mobility, strength and power, as well as endurance. In coming to Wedgewood, his focus is multi-faceted: presenting a strategy that focuses on injury prevention and performance enhancement, using the hybrid style tactics, to achieve those ends.  In specific Todd brings a focus on golf fitness, to help our players play longer, stronger, more injury free and more often.
