Junior Golf
Our esteemed Junior Golf program runs from the middle of June to the beginning of August and is led by our entire staff of PGA Professionals. Juniors meet weekly for instruction and course play.
Our Junior Program stresses skill development, knowledge of the rules of golf, course management and proper etiquette. Boys and girls in all age divisions compete in our Junior Club Championship at the end of each summer, and a "Skills Challenge" is held at the end of the program to apply the skills they have learned during their lessons. Also, juniors have an opportunity to play with a parent in the Parent-Child Tournament.
Wedgewood's Junior Program also offers the opportunity to play in our PGA Junior League Golf. PGA-JLG features a team-vs-team scramble format in a structured league setting that provides for a more popular and less stressful competition platform. PGA-JLG emphasizes the fun, recreation and sportsmanship of the game for players at any skill level. Wedgewood has two teams that compete in Junior League.
