With year-round Tennis at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club, we are very lucky to have some of the area's finest Tennis instructors and players working with us. The Tennis Program is at all time levels of activity and excitement and we have these amazing Tennis Professionals to thank for that! Cary Vaughan | Head Tennis Professional
Cary has been a USPTA Teaching Professional since 2005. He is also a certified Cardio Tennis instructor and a Quickstart Coach. Cary started playing tennis at a very young age as his father is a former professional ATP player/coach and current teaching professional. Most of Cary's childhood was spent playing junior tournament tennis in Naples, Florida. Cary then moved back to Ohio and played tennis at Dublin Sells Middle School and Dublin Coffman High School. He was also part of the cross-country team. As a tennis pro, Cary has been teaching and playing competitive tennis in sunny southwest Florida. He was the Head Tennis Professional at The Sanctuary Golf Club in Sanibel Island, Vanderbilt Country Club in Naples and also Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples.  Cary has coached many juniors to play successful high school and college tennis. He is currently the coach for the Dublin Jerome boy's JV tennis team and had a very successful first season. Cary is happy to be back in Ohio and to be a part of Wedgewood's staff.


Anthony Susi
Anthony, a Worthington, Ohio native, is a two-time Arkansas State Doubles Champion. He won the 1989 National High School Coaches Association All-American and was a Doubles Champion in the 2006 National Public Court Championship.  Anthony has been at Wedgewood since 2004 and teaches junior and adult programs, and also gives private and group lessons.


John Gray
John has been a tennis professional for 32 years. He successfully helped 225 juniors earn full ride scholarships. Five of the juniors have won National Championships at the collegiate level. Four others competed at the professional level in the top 200 in the world. As an amateur player, John has been ranked as high as 11th in Singles and Doubles in the Midwest Section. Currently he is rated a 4.5 as a singles and Doubles player.

Troy Yerian
Troy has been a USPTA and PTR-certified teaching professional since 1993, and has worked with some of the top coaches and players in the business. Originally from Zanesvillle, Ohio, Troy comes to Wedgewood after serving as the men's and women's assistant coach at Muskingum University, his alma mater. With experience as a player, coach and manager, Troy has won numerous USTA tournaments and was a member of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit where he held high rankings in both singles and doubles play. In addition to his time at Muskingum, Troy also found success with the Greater Cincinnati Indoor Tennis Association where he coached both adult ladies teams and elite junior players. 

Jeff Luxenburger
Jeff has been coaching youth tennis since 2007. Jeff played varsity tennis as an undergraduate at Otterbein University, and later received a Masters in Education at Ohio State University. He is the head coach of the Olentangy High School girls' and boys' tennis teams. He also coaches the district-wide Olentangy middle school club tennis programs.
